So recently I decided that i would try to produce a painting of a pokemon a day and see how far can I go. Hopefully I would improve doing this ( granted that I wouldn't give up halfway...)

I'll be doing this with all the gen 2 pokemon ( gen 2 because it's my favorite and it has the least amount of pokes haha) and here are the first three, my all time favorite starter !

The first two are done in 2 hours and the third in 5.

Critiques and suggestions are GREATLY appreciated !

I really love the style of your work! I'm curious as to why you chose the progression of day to night. I'm also wondering why you chose to have their poses go from lively to docile. Not really critiques I suppose, but just something I noticed. I think overall your work is great. If anything, you could perhaps work on the perspective of them a little more to give them a little more depth; mainly with meganium. Excellent job! Wonderful tribute to the second generation, which is ALSO my favorite :)

All I can say is wow...well perhaps a bit more :3. As chikorita ages and matures it's rashness and boldness blossoms into stalwart stouthearted creature. Not only does the shift in lighting aid this a transition so does the natural poses. And finally a cool wind down to a meganium ambling through the night, brought to life by the warming pinks and purple overtones. Beautiful :)

I like how you made it look like morning-afternoon-night!

Suggestions: Maybe make Chikorita's eyes brighter?

I love the Chikoria evo line, and this captures them perfectly! :D
